Santa-Fe back-band molding specifications :

Wooden back-band moldings from our collection are designed to be used in combination with any of our casing, chair-rail, or frieze wood molding. It is also a great way to add matching details to woodwork. If there is a certain trim that cannot be coordinated with the molding or frieze that you picked out, you can add a back-band with a matching design onto another trim. Back-bands add additional dimension and ornamentation to the wood moldings.

- outstanding quality molding profile milled from high grade, kiln dried solid poplar wood

- high relief decorative ornamental design crafted using fine grade stainable wooden composition material

- molding sold unfinished and can be easily stained, painted or glazed

- custom finishes available for molding orders over 500 ft.

The installation of these moldings should be treated the same manner as you would treat any wood molding:

- all molding should be kept in a clean and dry environment away from excessive moisture

- acclimate wooden moldings for 5-7 days

- when installing wood molding, it is recommended to nail molding securely to studs and glue all mitered corners for maximum support
